• Angie Neslin

    Executive Director

Hailing from Southeast Denver, Angie Neslin has dedicated her career to serving local communities while maintaining a global vision. With degrees in American Studies and Latin American and Iberian Cultures, she has worked alongside communities in the Dominican Republic and her beloved hometown of Denver to increase access to healthy and culturally-relevant food.

Whether coordinating an urban gardening program for hundreds of children in Santo Domingo, working with the UN's Hambre Cero initiative to fight food insecurity in the Americas, or developing the Heart & Hand Family Resource Center Program in Denver's Five Points neighborhood, food justice and community connections are at the heart of what Angie does.

Outside of work she engages these values by playing guitar in a bilingual rock band and mentoring incoming college freshmen from around the globe through the Teagle Humanities Fellowship. She is thrilled to draw on these experiences as she works alongside the Virginia Village community in her new role at The LoVVe Project.
